The Willie Wags Workshop: August Women's Collective
This product is currently sold out.
Join us Wednesday, August 28th from 6-8pm after hours for our monthly Women's Collective!
This is your space. Welcome to Bangor's own Women's Collective. We are a movement of local entrepreneurial women who use our skills, voices, gifts and talents to empower one another in our personal and professional lives. We believe in community, the common good, hustling hard, sacrifice, hugs, high fives, keeping it real and supporting our fellow women. Each month we gather after hours at The Willie Wags to discuss a different topic led by a guest speaker as well as address "hot items" from our attendees. Come ready to learn, laugh, enjoy good company and expand your circle!
This month's in-person guest speaker is Tricia Griffith.
Tricia is a licensed massage therapist and Reiki master teacher, operating Birch Tree Wellness Massage Therapy in Orono, Maine. She’s been a massage therapist for three years, and has more than 30 years experience in energy healing, intuitive work, and teaching people how to develop their own intuitive abilities. She lives in Orono with her husband and three fur children.
For this Women’s Collective, Tricia will talk about stress, including the common effects of stress on your body, mood, and behavior. She’ll explain how massage helps manage stress, and show you some self-massage (the PG version) techniques you can do at home. We’ll also talk about other ways to reduce/relieve stress, including Reiki, meditation, and aromatherapy. We’ll do a short guided centering and grounding meditation, and make your own stress balls to take home.
Coffee, wine and munchies will be served during each month's collective.
